TOP CAMPING GEAR I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE...

Coleman 8-Person Instant Tent
This pop-up bedroom is so easy to set up that you can do it in 1 minute flat which means you can begin enjoying whiskey the great outdoors that much faster!

If you’re a glamper like me and use a huge queen size air mattress, you’ll want a tent that can easily accommodate it. (Your luggage too.)

Also, I definitely prefer a tent I can stand up in because getting dressed laying down or bent in half is about as much fun as ……

Danner Light Cascade Hiking Boot
This hiker is cute as hell, practical and comfortable to boot! (I had to.) What’s not to love?!

Billabong Hat
I’ve had this exact hat for several years, it goes with me everywhere. Glamping, traveling, hiking, it’s a must-have.

Lodge LCC# Cast Iron Combo Cooker
When I go camping I don’t eat hot dogs for three days, I eat like a queen! Cast iron cookers are where it’s at for me because I love cooking directly over the campfire. It infuses my food with just the right amount of charred, smoky deliciousness. (See my grill grate below.)

3 pc Sharper Image Knife Set w/ Covers
If you’d like to keep all your digits in tact don’t pack knives without covers. Seriously.

Weber Rapidfire Chimney Starter
I get a little too excited about eating food that’s been cooked over charcoal. My mouth is watering just writing this, no joke. This chimney is a camping staple for me that I will never go without.

Coleman 3-in-1 Propane Stove
This comes in real handy when you want to boil water for coffee in the morning, scramble some eggs, or whip up a quick, easy meal.

TETON Sports Sleeping Bag
Zip two of these bad boys together and you may not want to leave the tent…just sayin’.

X-Chef Stainless Steel French Press
Just because you’re camping doesn’t mean you have to compromise on taste! I like this French Press because I don’t have to worry about it breaking, it’s made out of sturdy stainless steel. It’s big enough to have plenty to share with my fellow glampers and it’s double-walls keep my java nice and hot but the exterior cool.

Coleman Northern Nova Propane Lantern with Case
This lantern produces an unheard of 3,000 lumens of light. In layman’s terms that means it’s light can reach over 100 feet away! It’s bright, it’s push button ignition (so no matches), you can adjust the brightness and it can stand on legs or be hung. Done and done.

Coleman Camp Cooker
These make the dirtiest grilled ham and cheese EVER. Or pie. Or egg sammies. Buy it, immediately.

Coleman Tent Kit
You don’t think you need this until several of your tent pegs go missing and your tent is filled with pebbles and sand and grass.

Motorola Two-Way Radio Set
If you’re camping anywhere amazing, cell reception won’t exist. It’s a good thing, I promise! These babies are just smart to have around and it may or may not be fun to give each other code names and say inappropriate things. Not that I’m into that sort of thing…

Coleman LED Headlamp
Do you like to see? Then these are invaluable.

Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler
Oh, coolers. How convenient but frustrating you are. After many years of camping and lots of melted bags of ice later Yeti came along and answered all of our prayers. Can I get an amen for the dry goods basket?! Oh and they’re bear-resistant! Kind of horrifying, but true. 🙂

Pendelton Woolen Mills Inc Wool Serape Blanket
Pendleton’s legacy is one of quality, comfort and beauty. Their 100% wool, Native American inspired blankets will keep you nice and cozy as you eat s’mores around the campfire.

Sterilite Storage Tote
I use these for all my dry goods…think bread, chips, pots, pans, canned goods, etc. They’re easy to transport because they have wheels and the lid is attached so you don’t have to worry about it falling into the dirt. Win-win.

Advanced Elements 5 Gallon Solar Shower
I wasn’t a fan of these until I went on a 10 mile hike in 100 degree heat at a campground without showers. I’ve literally never been happier to have warm, pourable water than at that moment. Just make sure you bring your bikini!

Tommy Bahama Backpack Cooler Chair
These are probably the coolest portable chairs I’ve ever seen. They have a cooler, a storage pouch, a drink holder, a pocket for your cell phone and can be worn like a backpack. They also lay completely flat, an ideal position for stargazing and are a steal at under $60 bucks. Take my money!

Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repeller
No one likes to be a human pin cushion and itchy AF. This ingenious invention is like an invisibility cloak for mosquitos. Not necessary in Southern California but a Godsend in places like Minnesota and Montana.

Etekcity Air Mattress
I have an actual outlet in my car so mattresses with built in pumps mean I can plug it in and let it do it’s thing and it will deflate itself when I’m ready to hit the road. Though there’s also a valve for an external pump if you need it. I like that this mattress doesn’t make that awful squeaking noise when you move around and it’s nice and high off the ground.

UE Boom 2 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker
This speaker is designed for adventure, it’s waterproof and shockproof. I take it with me everywhere I travel, not just when I’m camping. I’m a music junkie and can’t survive without my tunes!

Texsport Heavy Duty Over Fire Camp Grill
Here’s the grill grate I use with my cast iron cookers! I don’t get to eat over a campfire very often so when it’s available I take full advantage. This grate makes it all possible.

Happy Camper Enamel Mug
First I do the coffee. Then I do the things.

***I also like to purchase extras of almost everything, batteries, lantern mantels, Thermacell refills, etc.
